What is overhaul aircond?
Overhaul aircond (also called aircond overhaul, chemical overhaul aircond or overhaul aircond cleaning) is a deep dismantling and chemical cleaning service for air conditioners that are very dirty, smelly, leaking or not cooling properly — where normal servicing or a standard chemical wash can no longer fix the issues.
During an overhaul, the indoor unit is removed from the wall or ceiling, taken apart, and each key component is cleaned and flushed individually before reassembly and testing. This lets the technician reach hidden dirt on the back of the evaporator coil, inside the blower wheel and deep in the drain pan and drain pipe — areas routine servicing cannot fully access.
It focuses on restoring cleanliness, airflow and hygiene — not on replacing major components like compressors or PCB boards.

What our overhaul aircond service includes?
A full overhaul is a dismantle-and-chemical-clean service — heavier than a normal wash and more thorough than a standard chemical service. Here is exactly what our technicians perform on every job.
1. Power isolation & area protection
Power switched off; furniture and flooring covered against water and chemical splashes.
2. Indoor-unit dismantling
Wall units removed from the bracket; cassette units safely opened from the ceiling grid.
3. Full disassembly
Front cover, filters, blower wheel and drain pan removed so each part is cleaned properly.
4. Evaporator coil deep clean
Chemical applied to the coil (including the back side) to dissolve dust, grease and mould, then rinsed.
5. Blower wheel cleaning
Blades cleaned individually to remove biofilm that restricts airflow and causes smell.
6. Drain pan & pipe flushing
Chemical and water flush to clear slime and blockages that cause water leakage.
7. Casing & filter cleaning
Housing, louvres and filter screens washed to improve air quality and appearance.
8. Outdoor-unit inspection
Condenser visually checked for noise, damage, heavy dirt and loose connections.
9. Electrical & wiring check
Key indoor connections inspected for wear, burning or looseness that affect safety.
10. Reassembly & reinstallation
Components reassembled; indoor unit remounted; drain and electrical connections restored.
11. Performance testing
Airflow, temperature drop, noise and leak checks before we leave.

Refrigerant handling and gas top-up when needed
Replacement of fan motors, capacitors, drain pans or PCBs if faults are detected

Overhaul aircond is not required for every unit. For many homes and offices, regular service and occasional chemical wash are enough — overhaul is reserved for units with serious dirt build-up, persistent odour or recurring leakage and cooling issues.
